To access the Accounts & sign-in menu, press the XXX.GST (quick settings) button and navigate to [Settings] > [Accounts & sign-in]. Within this menu, you'll find the following options:
[GOOGLE TV ACCOUNTS] – This section lists all accounts connected to this TV. The following options are available when you select any of the available accounts:
[Settings lock] – You can lock your settings to prevent other users from manipulating your personal account. When enabled, authentication will be required to view or change any account settings.
[Your services] – You can manually activate which apps/services you want to receive content recommendations on the home screen when you're signed into your Google Account.
[Content preferences] – This option will present you with movies and shows that you can rate. If you haven't watched the displayed title, you can choose to skip it. Your ratings will be used to tailor recommendations on the home screen to better match your preferences.
[Autoplay trailers] – Automatically play video trailers for shows and movies.
[Hidden purchases & rentals] – You can hide a specific movie or show from your library. Press and hold the OK button while the title is selected, then choose the [Hide] option. In this menu you can find all hidden titles.
[Payment & purchases] – You can set up authorisation method for purchases on Google Play Store to prevent unauthorised purchases, including in-app purchases from this account.
[Google Assistant] – Settings for voice control via Google Assistant for this account.
[Voice control] – Enables/disables voice control.
[View permissions] – View Google Assistant permission.
[Personal results] – You can turn on personal results to allow the Google Assistant to read or show results specific to you.
[Searchable apps] – Choose which apps’ content shows up when you search. When an app is not searchable, you won’t see content from the app in your search results.
[SafeSearch filter] – SafeSearch can help you block inappropriate or explicit images from your Google Search results. The SafeSearch filter isn’t 100% accurate, but it helps you avoid most adult content. This setting is shared with all accounts on this TV.
[Apps only mode] – When enabled, this will hide Google's recommendations from your home screen along with your ability to give feedback on movies or shows or add them to your watchlist. You can access all the apps installed on the device.
[Remove] – Removes the currently selected account. All data related to this account will be deleted from the TV, including associated kids accounts.
[Add an account] – Adds a new account. You'll go through setup steps to add the account and configure permissions, privacy, and personalization.
[Add a kid] – This option allows you to create a special account for kids that will be linked to your own account. Parental control and screen time limits can be set up on this account.
