When the TV is switched on for the first time, it will enter installation mode. It is recommended that you complete all steps to ensure correct operation. Use the XXX.GLF (Back) button on the remote control to return to the previous screen.
1.Select your preferred on-screen display language. This sets the language in which menus and related information are displayed. To change it later, go to the [Region and language] menu.
2.Select the country in which the TV will be used. This determines certain TV functions, such as operator-specific settings for channel tuning.
3.Set a PIN code for your TV. You will need to remember this code, so write it down and keep it in a safe place. 0000 is not allowed as a PIN.
4.Set up the Internet connection. If an Ethernet cable is connected to the LAN socket on the back of the TV, select [Wired] and the TV will connect automatically. For a wireless connection, select [Wireless (Wi-Fi)].
If you selected [Wireless (Wi-Fi)], choose your network from the list and use the on-screen keyboard to enter your password. Once the password has been entered correctly, the TV will connect to your network and to the Internet, if available.
After connecting, press the OK button to continue.
5.The terms and conditions for using Smart TV features are displayed. Read the information, then continue.
6.The privacy information is displayed. Make your selections from the available options, then continue.
7.Set the TV to Home or Shop mode. [Home] is the default setting for normal use. This can be changed later in the Settings menu if required.
8.If you have an antenna cable connected to one of the TV's tuners, select the appropriate option and start the tuning process.
If you have connected a set-top box via an HDMI cable, select [Connect a set-top box], then choose the HDMI input to which it is connected. This will prevent the TV from attempting to tune any channels.
9.While the TV is tuning, the screen will show progress updates and the number of digital channels found.
10.Depending on the country selected, you may be asked to enter your postcode. This helps the TV find the correct local channels. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter your postcode.
11.The tuning results will be displayed. Highlight [Continue] and press the OK button.
12.Choose whether to allow the TV to be switched on via the local network. For example, you can switch the TV on from standby mode by casting content from a mobile device. Please note that enabling this feature will increase power consumption while the TV is in standby mode. Enable or disable this feature according to your preferences.
13.Congratulations! Your Smart TV is now ready to use. Select [Finish] and press the OK button.
